CSAA Elects New Officers and Board Members
Ralph W. Sevinor to Head Association

On October 16-21, 1999, over 300 members of the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and guests gathered at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua Resort in Maui, Hawaii for CSAA's 49th Annual Meeting.

During the October 18th Business Meeting, members elected a new Executive Committee and four Board Members for two-year terms.

Ralph W. Sevinor (President of Wayne Alarm Systems, Lynn, MA) was elected President of the Association.

Mel Mahler (President and CEO of Electronic Security Services Co., Nashville, TN) was elected First Vice President.

Richard L. Sampson (President of American Alarm & Communications, Inc., Arlington, MA) was elected Second Vice President.

Robert R. Bean (President and CEO of Alert Holdings Group, Inc., Honolulu, HI) was re-elected as Secretary .

Stephen Nelson (Director of Honeywell Protection Systems, Minneapolis, MN) was elected Treasurer.

Former CSAA President Louis T. Fiore (President of L. T. Fiore, Inc., New York, NY) became Immediate Past President. Ronald D. LaFontaine (CEO of Security Systems, Inc., Boca Raton, FL) became an Ex Officio (non-voting) Board Member.

Other Board Members elected or reelected by the membership were Peter Michel (President and CEO of Brink's Home Security, Irving, TX); Peter Lowitt (President of Lowitt Alarms and Security, Hicksville, NY); Robert May (Senior Vice President, Vector Security and Senior Division Executive, Triple A Protection, Wilkes Barre, PA); and Jerry Howe (President of Peak Alarm Co., Inc., Salt Lake City, UT).

In addition, Bud Wulforst (President of A-1 Security, Ltd., Las Vegas, NV) was appointed to the CSAA Board of Directors.
