HOTEL DETAILS:

  • The Embassy Suites - Los Angeles International Airport North is just a half mile form the Los Angeles Airport, 16 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 2 miles to beautiful Southern California beaches. There is a 24-Hour complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 1:00pm.

  • Every suite has a private bedroom with a king or two double beds, a living room with sofa bed and dining/work table. There are a two dual-line telephones with voice mail and dataport, and two remote control televisions with cable. A galley kitchen comes equipped with wet bar, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker.

  • Complimentary full cook-to-order breakfast and complimentary evening cocktails.


Course Instructors

All of the presenters conduct Listing evaluations and annual audits of central stations and have extensive experience with the standards and codes that apply to central stations.

John Gudmundson, Santa Clara CA.

  • John has been with UL for four years. In addition, he has 12 years experience in the fire alarm industry and holds a NICET II certificate. During the last 3 years, John has been presenting seminars for UL.

Javier Olarte, Research Triangle Park, NC.

  • Javier has been with UL for 14 years and holds NICET II certification. He has been presenting seminars for UL for 14 years.

Tom Presnak, Northbrook, Il.

  • Tom has been with UL for 12 years and also holds NICET II certification. He has been presenting seminars for UL for 4 years.

Pete Tallman, Melville NY.

  • Pete has been with UL for 30 years and holds NICET III certification. He has been presenting seminars for UL for 24 years.

Joe Weller, Northbrook, Il.

  • Joe has been with UL for 20 years and holds NICET II certification. He has been presenting seminars for UL for 4 years.
