What is the CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Awards Program?
The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) International’s Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Awards Program recognizes CSAA Five Diamond companies that have used their CSAA Five Diamond designation to better position themselves in the security industry marketplace.
Sponsored by Security Sales & Integration Magazine, the CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL award winner will be honored at the ESX Icebreaker Luncheon on June 18 at 12:00 pm. The purpose of the CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Awards Program is to:
- Recognize and honor companies that have used their CSAA Five Diamond designation in creative ways to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Inspire others to market their CSAA Five Diamond advantage.
- Help companies create their own CSAA Five Diamond Marketing Toolkit.
- Heighten awareness of the CSAA Five Diamond Program to CSAA members and the industry at large.
- Inspire ALL companies engaged in security monitoring to enrich their operations by educating them about the “best marketing practices” of CSAA Five Diamond companies.
- Elevate the profile of CSAA Five Diamond companies and CSAA for their professionalism in the eyes of the mainstream media and general public.
Who is Eligble to Apply for the MARVEL Award?
Entrants MUST be current CSAA Five Diamond companies.

Be sure to mark the envelope: CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL APPLICATION. You must submit Five (5) completed copies of your application and supporting materials to CSAA for consideration.
How/When are Winners Notified?
Winners of the CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Awards will be announced during the ESX Icebreaker Luncheon, held on Tuesday, June 18, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. The luncheon is sponsored by Security Sales & Integration Magazine.
Winners/honorees will be featured in articles in Security Sales & Integration Magazine’s
2013
November issue and in the CSAA Dispatch.
How are the Entries Judged?
All CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Award entries will be reviewed by a Panel of Judges that have been selected by CSAA Five Diamond Marketing MARVEL Awards Program Subcommittee members. The judges, who will be recognized during the presentation at the ESX Icebreaker Luncheon on June 18, are not employees of any currently operating central station.
What are the Rules of the MARVEL Awards Program?
- Entrants MUST be current CSAA Five Diamond companies.
- Past MARVEL Award Winners cannot apply for the same award for three (3) years.
- Detailed answers are required for the judges to thoroughly review your application; however, please limit your MARVEL award submissions to no more than one page per question.
Note: All MARVEL Award submissions (including marketing ideas and photos) become the property of CSAA and may be used for promotional purposes.

Winner: Redwire. This company truly exemplifies what the CSAA Five Diamond Marketing Marvel program is all about. The firm has the CSAA Five Diamond logo on all available marketing collateral, including sales flyers, sales presentations, its website, business cards and e-mail tags. The company celebrates achieving CSAA Five Diamond certification by announcing it to the chamber of commerce, newspapers, employees, clients and prospects via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and a blogged press release. The CSAA Five Diamond certification is framed and posted in three spots within its offices and is featured in its tradeshow display.
