CSAA Signature Series Webinars
CSAA is pleased to offer the following webinars to our members and others in the industry.
This webinar featured what third-party listing means and the benefits it provides to your business and to the industry. Participants learned about their choices in selecting a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and how you can partner with NRTLs to reduce the stress of the listing and auditing process. Attendees took away a basic understanding of the standards, requirements and listing process, as well as the common pitfalls.
This webinar examined first-party (you) and third-party (the world) risks exposures when using of IP (Internet Protocol) networks, including a review of worldwide IP liability. Among the other topics covered were denial of monitoring, virus infections, cyber extortion, cyber crime, the FTC’s Red Flag Rules as related to ID data & biometric ID theft, and e-media data liability. Loss of RMR and software /hardware replacement. The webinar also covered the fears of cyber terrorism and the myths of insurance coverage with case law.
This session was specifically designed for alarm company owners, management, office staff, sales teams, and all employees. This was an extremely energetic and interactive seminar conveying dynamic techniques on a host of customer issues specifically designed to light a fire of enthusiasm under everyone in attendance.
This webinar conveyed some fundamental tools that will empower employees and managers to raise the bar in terms of perceived “added value” in doing business with your company as opposed to your competitors. Topics covered in this presentation were the cost associated with losing just one customer, what are satisfied customers, defusing angry customers, better ways to say no when you can’t say yes and mentoring a higher degree of employee ownership of problems. This session gave participants effective tools to take back and immediately employ, whether they have twenty-five minutes or twenty-five years of experience.
CSAA and the Security Industry Association (SIA) has established this listserver to allow Central Station managers and operators to network with their peers. Click here for more information.
