Ensure that your Central Station is in RF Compliance

The FCC's RF Radiation Rules became effective for all licensees on September 1, 2000. While most alarm operations are categorically exempt from performing an environmental evaluation, such licensees can nonetheless be drawn into a compliance situation if other radio operations on the tower or building cause the site to exceed radiation standards.

John Prendergast, from CSAA's counsel, Blooston, Mordkofsky, Jackson and Dickens has prepared a letter that can be sent to your tower or building owner to ensure that the site remains in compliance. Click below to access this letter.
