![]() The Secretary General of INTERPOL and the President of the National Federation of In-dependent Businesses (NFIB) to Speak at CSAA 2000 Annual Meeting 07/17/00
CSAA's 50th Anniversary meeting in Monte Carlo will truly be a no miss. Not only will it be located at one of the most spectacular locales on the French Riviera, but it includes an outstanding roster of speakers. Monday's lineup, for example, includes such industry giants as Mike Snyder, Peter Michel, Richard Seger, Ronald I. Davis, Lessing E. Gold, and Dorsie Mosher. Just added to the Monday mix are two presentations that promise to be dynamite. The Secretary General of the International Crime Police Organization (ICPO-Interpol), Mr. Raymond E. Kendall, Q.P.M., M.A. will be our Keynote Speaker. In addition, Mr. Jack Faris, President of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) will be our Opening Speaker. Interpol, as you all know, is the world's pre-eminent organization in support of all organizations, authorities and services whose mission is preventing or detecting international crime. Mr. Raymond E. Kendall, Q.P.M., M.A. will be speaking about international security issues around the world. He has been with Interpol since 1971, where he was elected as Secretary General in 1985. Prior to moving to Interpol, Mr. Kendall worked for Scotland Yard for 24 years. He has won many meritorious service medals and awards from countries around the world, including the United States, where he received awards from the U.S. Marshals Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), among others. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is the largest advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals. NFIB was established in 1943 and has 600,000 members throughout the 50 states. Mr. Jack Faris has been a nationally recognized political advocate since NFIB members fought against government-mandated health care coverage in 1993. More recently, Faris led the battle to repeal the death tax and is currently leading a nationwide crusade to sunset the IRS tax code.
