Welcome to the first issue of this year's NAMTSE Flash!
The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is pleased to present its 2004 NAMTSE Preliminary Schedule of Events. The program is available at http://www.csaaul.org/namtse/2004NAMTSEPrelimProg.htm.
This year's NAMTSE will take place at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, and will feature
- three concurrent tracks,
- two different CSAA/UL Seminars,
- a Disaster Preparedness Seminar and
- a CEO track.
One of the concurrent tracks will incorporate the ever-popular "Operations Management Seminar." Saturday will feature an Exhibit of products and services of interest to central station personnel and dealers.
As during last year's NAMTSE, the Security Network of America (SNA) will host its meeting in conjunction with NAMTSE. The SNA meeting will start on the afternoon of April 19 and will conclude on April 22.
No CSAA meeting would be complete without some networking activities. This year, NAMTSE attendees will sample the delights of world-famous Beale Street during a "pub crawl" on Thursday, April 15; on Saturday, we will visit Graceland, the estate of the King of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis Presley.
"Again NAMTSE will be presenting over 100 hours of course instruction for central stations and installing companies on issues such as technology, financial management, sales and marketing, training, UL certification, emerging technologies, etc.," said Steve Doyle, CSAA's Executive Vice President. "NAMTSE has no equal on the networking opportunities provided to central station departments. If you want to find out how other similar-sized companies handle their challenges, NAMTSE is the place!" added Doyle.
