SUNDAY November 7th:

MONDAY November 8th:

  • 8:00-8:30 - Continental Breakfast

  • 8:30-9:00 - Welcome and Introductions

Craig Leiser, President, Kismet Group, Ltd; and

Tina Richardson-Jones, CSAA Director of Membership & Education and President of Figaro Consulting.

  • 9:00-10:15 - Call Center Management "Security Associates International Style"
    Led by Ron Carr and the Managers of the SAI Pompano Beach facility.

How does this central station "run" and how does it interface with other SAI Command Centers? This session will show you how they do it.

  • 10:15-10:30 - Coffee Break

  • 10:30 -11:30 - Central Station Operating Software

the significant commercial software in use today comes from MAS, ABM, SIMS, DICE and BOLD with several proprietary systems.

Please be prepared to talk about your operating software.

  • 11:30 - Noon - Roundtable Discussion on the above topic

  • Noon - 1:00 - Luncheon (at the hotel) - Roundtable discussion continues

  • 1:00 - 2:00 - Application of Value Added Technology:

Several technologies are in use that potentially add value to central station operations such as: two-way voice, video verification, dealer interface, automatic paging, etc.

What do you use? Please be prepared to share your knowledge with others.

  • 3:00 - 4:00 - Disaster Plans, Policy Manuals and UL:

A presentation of the findings from the last call center management seminar and the application to Y2K preparedness.

  • 4:00 - 5:00 - Roundtable Discussions: Topics set by participants

  • 5:30 - 7:00 - Dinner - informal buffet

TUESDAY November 9:

  • 8:00 - 9:00 - Continental Breakfast and Roundtable Discussions

  • 9:00 - 12:30 - Tour of Security Associates International Facilities - Transportation will be provided.

  • Luncheon (at SAI)

  • 1:00 - 2:00 - Human Resources Issues:

Employee motivation, evaluation, training and scheduling among other topics.

  • 2:00 - 4:00 - Roundtable Discussions on licensing recognition, central station operational evaluation.

Each roundtable will tackle one issue, e.g. training criteria; performance measurements; other topics recommended by the group which will then be presented to the rest of the group.
