Growing Your Company through Borrowing and Equity Investment
|
The number of equity investors interested in entering the alarm industry has grown dramatically. Two presentations on Wednesday, October 30 will provide Annual Meeting attendees with tools to improve their companies' borrowing power and enable them to attract equity investors.
At 10:15am, a panel composed of Eric Pritchard, Tannenbaum & Chanin, LLP, a commercial lawyer who represents security companies that borrow from cash flow lenders, Ralph Hinkley, Citizen’s Bank, and Barry Epstein, SLP Capital, two active industry lenders, will explore "Funding The Industry, Borrowing And Equity" and provide attendees with advice on how to maximize a company's borrowing power to leverage company growth.
Last June, SLP Capital hosted the first annual "Security Alarm Industry Conference for Private Equity Investors." This conference brought together equity investors, capital market experts and successful operators who discussed where the industry stands and where it is going. The conference attracted over 50 attendees including more than 20 different private equity firms with over $10 billion of capital.
Henry Edmonds, CEO of SLP Capital, will present on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:00am the results of that conference and the exciting implications for our industry during his presentation, "Equity Investors and the Alarm Industry." Topics will include what investors are looking for, the ideal investment profile and the key performance factors that companies must control and report on to be considered.
Are You Ready For The Internet And Is It Ready For You?
Alan L. Pepper, Partner, Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP will present a seminar on Wednesday, October 30 on doing business on the Internet. The emphasis will be upon recent developments in law and technology that may permit alarm dealers to contract and communicate with new and existing customers on the Internet, which could result in substantial savings and economies for alarm dealers. The seminar will include a discussion of using
electronic media, the requirements for electronic signatures, liability concerns and related issues.
