It is with great sadness that we announce that CSAA member Joyce Blake, owner of Dehart Alarm Systems, Inc., Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 after a long battle with melanoma cancer.

Joyce was born in Attleboro, MA and came to Sarasota in 1953, where she married and had four children. She later started Dehart with husband, Don Rinehart in 1967. She remained an integral part of the company until her death. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three brothers and husband Rick.

Her children, Cory Schott and Daphne O’Carroll, will carry on with Dehart.

Joyce had requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.

Joyce graced many CSAA meetings with her ever-present smile and sense of fun and will be greatly missed! CSAA would like to extend its condolences to her family.
