Solutions to Windows 2000 Problems

When importing databases:

When FAAP is installed on a Windows2000 platform and you attempt to import either the Alarm or Sample databases, you may encounter either of the following error messages:

  • Error (62) Input past end of file or
  • Error (3021) No current record.

Solution:

  • For the Alarm Database, deselect "Read-only" for file properties and select "No" for Crushed Data.
  • For the Sample Database, deselect "Read only" and select "Yes" for Crushed Data.

When installing FAAP:

A user must have read rights to the registry portion of FAAP.

To set read rights to the registry portion of FAAP, enter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CSAA
