CSAA Announces the Creation of a Technical Resource Council

CSAA is pleased to announce the creation of the CSAA Technical Resource Council. The purpose of this Council is to research future technologies that will either have a direct impact on the alarm industry or that can be useful to the alarm industry. However, its focus will be far different from previous attempts to identify “emerging technologies”.

“Technologies exist outside of our industry that need to be identified so that our industry will be better placed to protect our customers, reduce false alarms and enhance our businesses” said the newly appointed Chairman of the Council, Lou Fiore, President L.T. Fiore, Inc. “I am honored to be selected to chair this important initiative.”

It is the mission of the Council to reach out to the public sector, as well as academia and other research facilities to identify these products, services and opportunities at a relatively early stage so that the alarm industry may have input at the development stage and then be able to migrate these technologies into the security industry. The Committee will also help to develop future needs strategies, identify trends and bring new opportunities to acquire technologies that will bring new and appropriate sources of revenue to the alarm industry.

Please address inquiries to Lou Fiore at ltfiore@aol.com.
