NAMTSE 2005 to Take Place in Montreal

The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is pleased to announce that Montreal, Canada will be the site and venue for the 2005 North American Monitoring Technology Symposium and Exhibition (NAMTSE).

The meeting will be held May 12-15, 2005 at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel. Montreal was chosen as the location for the meeting for a number of reasons including being able to bring central station alarm educational programming to our Canadian members and friends, as well as to so many of our North American central stations, the favorable rate of exchange and the hotel itself, one of the finest in Montreal which is located in the heart of the city near all of the historical areas, fine dining and other attractions.

According to Steve Doyle, CSAA Executive Vice President, "This is truly a world class hotel with over 800 rooms and a tremendous amount of meeting space, which will allow us to expand the educational offerings in a way that we could simply not do before. In addition, we are looking forward to working with our Canadian counterparts on some very unique programs common to us all. Last, the ease of access for most people into Montreal, the international flavor of the city and all its unique activities will present a location that has something for everyone”.

For the past four years, NAMTSE has been growing in content and has developed into one of the finest educational venues in the country for all aspects of central station operations. NAMTSE 2004 in Memphis was a great programmatical and financial success and CSAA is looking forward to improving the meeting each year. The CSAA Education Committee, chaired by John Lombardi, Commercial Instruments and Alarm Systems, Inc. and Pam Petrow,Vector Security, is presently developing the program for NAMTSE 2005.
