CSAA Is Ready To Help With Hurricane Rita Communications Problems
CSAA is ready to assist central station alarm companies with problems arising from damage to their communications systems due to Hurricane Rita.
If an FCC-licensed radio system is damaged by the storm and needs to be modified or relocated, CSAA is ready to help you prepare an FCC application, and will coordinate frequency applications on an immediate turn-around basis.
You can contact Bob Bitton at any time (including the weekend of Sept. 24-25) by calling 908-810-8822.
In addition, CSAA's telecom attorneys, Blooston Mordkofsky Dickens Duffy & Prendergast, are available to help alarm companies prepare and file emergency requests for special temporary authority to allow immediate operation, and to counsel you on the circumstances under which the FCC allows temporary operations during an emergency without a license change. You can reach John Prendergast at (202)828-5540.
CSAA Member Requests Employee Placement Assistance
One of our CSAA members, Hansen E. Koch from Certified Security Systems, LLC in Metairie, La., is requesting our members' help to place one of his wonderful, long term employees, Lauren Roberts, who was affected by Katrina and has relocated to the Dallas area.
He says that she has been an excellent, dedicated central station manager for his company for many years and that she will be sorely missed.
Please contact Hansen at 504-832-2295 if you have any questions. Lauren's e-mail is kalmroberts@yahoo.com.
