Long-time CSAA Member Marvin Britton Dies
The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) family wants to extend our condolences to the family of Marvin Britton, a long-time CSAA member and industry giant, who died yesterday, December 1, 2005.
Mr. Britton founded Atlas Security Service in 1962, which grew to be the largest independently owned and operated security company in Southwest Missouri. A longtime member of CSAA, he also founded Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of advanced alarm products in 1975. He retired from the alarm industry in 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Tootie Britton, and by his children: son Rick and wife Jan Britton; daughter Patsy and husband Steve Powell; daughter Nancy and husband Jim Wade; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
