Deadline for PDQ Award Competition Nears

CSAA members are committed to the reduction of false dispatches. Showcase the results of your efforts to the rest of the industry by participating in the Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award program. Security Sales & Integration magazine and Honeywell Security are co-sponsors of the PDQ Award, along with the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) and the False Alarm Reduction Association (FARA).

CSAA member Vector Security won last year's competition due to its totally committed corporate team and program that follows virtually every industry recommendation to reduce false alarms. Vector reduced dispatches from 1.37 to .8 per customer.

For more information and to download an application and the “Getting Started” guide, visit www.siacinc.org or www.faraonline.org.

APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED AND/OR POSTMARKED BY DECEMBER 31, 2006.

CORRECTION: Last week's CSAA Signals (Vol. 12, No. 21) inadvertently omitted that the "Security Industry Hall of Fame" is sponsored by Security Sales & Integration magazine.
