REMINDER: Please Participate in the First CSAA Technology Survey

As we mentioned in the last CSAA Signals, CSAA and the members of the "Central Stations of the Future" Annual Meeting panel are requesting your participation in the first survey of technology used in central stations. The results will form a foundation for discussion at the CSAA annual meeting in Hawaii.

This first annual technology survey is open to both member and non-member organizations. The 15-minutes survey has no tracking of individual respondents - all answers are ANONYMOUS. Estimates are acceptable and dollar estimates should be in $10,000 increments.

The link to the survey is http://csaa.survey.sgizmo.com.

Please respond by this Friday, September 28, 2007.

We will publish a summary of the results of the survey in November.

2007 CSAA AM Tour Space Running Out

It looks like CSAA members agree that the 2007 CSAA Annual Meeting is another "can't miss" event. Our Hotel room block is sold out over several nights of the meeting and many of the on-site tours are near maximum capacity (see list below).

Since the hotel is sold out, if you are holding a room and not going to attend, please release it so others on the waiting list may get into the hotel. Also, if you have not registered for the meeting, you must do so by Monday, October 1.

Tours:

  • Deep Sea Fishing – Limited slots remain. Sunday PM slot has been cancelled.
  • Kohala Country Falls – 2 slots remain
  • Hamakua Coast/Volcano Excursion – 10 slots remain
  • Captain Zodiac Raft Expedition – 4 slots remain
  • Sunset Sail – 12 slots remain
