Audio Verification Operational Standards Subcommittee Wants Your Input

For the past few years, a special Standards Subcommittee, led by Peter P. Giacalone of Giacalone Associates, LLC, has worked towards the creation of an industry operational standard in handling Audio Verification Technology. The Subcommittee has developed an initial draft of the proposed standard.

"Although I believe it contains the essential elements required, I also believe that the draft needs additional details," said Peter Giacalone. "I have personally drafted the existing document based on the limited input I have received and would really like to have a broader and more diverse group provide some to their experience to this document," added Giacalone. "I am confident that we can arrive at a conclusion in a very short period of time with the participation and input of additional interested parties."

Please consider participating in this committee and sharing your thoughts and experience. The group has met at the ISC Conferences and CSAA meetings, as well through conference calls. If you would like further information on this standard or simply would like to discuss this with me, please contact Peter P. Giacalone at peter@petergiacalone.com or call 201-394-5536.

You can access the current draft of the standard by visiting the "Standards" section at www.csaaintl.org or by visiting www.csaaintl.org/CSAAAudioVerDraft1_01.pdf
