CELLULAR AMPS TRANSITION PLAN

As the FCC's sunset date for AMPS technology draws closer, we encourage you to increase your efforts now to ensure that every analog wireless security system currently in use by one of your customers is upgraded or replaced with the latest digital wireless technology.

Regardless of whether the FCC decides to push back the sunset date from February 18, 2008 in response to the recent petition by members of the security industry, it is important to move forward with upgrading your AMPS technology now.

The continued safety of your customers depends on your swift transition to digital wireless technology that does not rely on the older analog networks threatened to be decommissioned in just 13 months.
