CSAA/ALAS/CANASA Agree to Translate The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is proud to announce that it has entered into an agreement with La Asociación Latinoamericana de Seguridad (ALAS) for ALAS to translate into Spanish and market to the Latin American central station industry CSAA's Central Station Operator Level One Online training course. The course will be accessed through the ALAS web site, but hosted by the CSAA, and will remain a CSAA-owned course. In addition, CSAA has also entered into an agreement with the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) for the translation of the Level One course into French for the French-speaking Canadian market. This will be in addition to the English version already available there. CSAA’s Executive Vice President Steve Doyle commented that "this course and the Advanced Operator Online Training Course have been successfully taken around the world. From major Fortune 500 Companies and DOD facilities to small and large central station companies, these programs have become the international standard." "These courses will also be available and marketed to other Spanish-speaking countries outside of Latin America and other Francophone countries, such as France, the Caribbean, Africa, etc.," added Doyle "CSAA owes a debt of gratitude to Pam Petrow and her Committee for a job well done," said CSAA’s President Bud Wulforst. "These courses have indeed become the world standard and the contribution made to the central station monitoring industry by the Online Training Course Committee is outstanding. From these courses has flowed the Five Diamond Program, which has proven to be immensely popular, thereby one success building on another.” CSAA expects the courses to be available within a couple of months. Agreements with other countries are in process at this time. Our thanks to Pam Petrow, Chair, and the rest of her team for the most recent update to Level One: Anna Tate, Joan Summerford, Lisa Laboda, Lynn Kercher, Sue Saxe, Anna Roderick, Angela Heidrick, Steve Wisely, and Loredana Elsberry.
