CSAA Establishes Relationship
with Argentinean Association

The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is pleased to announce that it has agreed to reciprocal a Honorary Affiliate membership with the Cámara De Empresas De Monitoreo De Alarmas De La República Argentina (CEMARA), a trade association of alarm monitoring companies in Argentina.

CEMARA, founded in 1996, shares many of CSAA's goals, such as working with law enforcement to protect life and property and educating its members and others in order to raise the standards of the industry. Its membership includes 80 of the top monitoring companies in Argentina.

"I am sure that there is much we can learn from each other, as the world and our industry grow smaller," said Steve Doyle, Executive Vice President of CSAA. "We look forward to many years of mutual cooperation," added Doyle.

In discussions with CEMARA's leadership, it is apparent that they are going through some of the same changes in Argentina as those in the U.S. and would like to share ideas on common problem resolutions.

CSAA is extending a special invitation to our new affiliates to attend the 2002 Annual Meeting at the Ritz Cancun in Cancun, Mexico this coming Oct. 25-30, 2002.

NAMTSE 2002: Success
is a Journey

The CSAA 2002 North American Monitoring Technology Symposium & Exhibition (NAMTSE) is proud to number among its many exceptional speakers, Mac Anderson, the founder of Successories.

In 1985, Mac Anderson and a small group of colleagues founded a small company, Successories, to design and produce quote books, award plaques and customized gifts.

Building on the success of these original products, photographic imagery was integrated to create framed motivational artwork. Today, Mac’s vision has been validated. Every day, thousands of progressive organizations and leaders from all walks of life demonstrate that the use of motivational media is not a passing fad, but an ongoing need.

Having researched and studied many of the great motivational and influential thinkers, Mac has unique insights into what fosters success.

His remarkable accomplishments in three unrelated industries demonstrate what he has always known...success is not luck or guessing but a deliberate, purposeful attitude toward life.

His presentation, "Companies Don’t Succeed...People Do: Seven Keys to Building Effective Teams," will take place on Monday, April 28, 2002.
