The Central Station Alarm Association
(CSAA) is happy to announce that the 2004 North American Monitoring
Technologies Symposium & Exhibition (NAMTSE) will be held
in Memphis, Tenn. on April 14-22, 2004.
“Memphis is an ideal location for NAMTSE 2004 because it combines a near Mid-west location, with an ease of access from most parts of the country. Additionally, Memphis will be a draw from a number of surrounding states and will be an easy drive for many of the alarm companies located in the contiguous states," said Steve Doyle, CSAA's Executive Vice President.
"Also, we have been most fortunate to be able to obtain exceptional rates for lodging in preferred hotels raging from $109.00 to $159.00 for the more upscale options. These properties are within walking distance to the heart of Memphis' music and night life areas, and only a few blocks walk to the “Mighty Mississippi” with its riverboats and other entertainment. For those with gambling fever, the incredible new resort/gambling and entertainment city of Tunica, Miscopy, is only about 30 minutes away. All this adds up to an affordable, action-packed venue for the NAMTSE 2004 meeting,” added Doyle.
The CSAA Education Committee is putting together another terrific program--don't miss this meeting! Topics to be covered and requests for presentations will be sent out as soon as they are available.
CSAA On-Line Operator Training Takes Off! The CSAA Central Station Operator Level One on-line training is truly becoming popular. Since its introduction to the general public in May 2003, 241 operators have signed up to take the course, 113 in August alone. If you would like more information on this training, please visit http://www.csaaul.org/CSAAOLTraining.htm.
